Review of Nanobloggers

I stumbled on a blog post about a new book called Nanobloggers.

Turns out to be a no no-nonsense approach to developing an online income by developing a niche markets using blogs. Not a novel concept in and of itself, however, it is a recipe type book, spelling out the steps needed to develop your niche and turn it into a money maker.

The concepts are appropiate for someone either new or interested in finally making money online. No hype but good solid teaching.

I've seen many comments on the book, almost all of them good!

Funnily enough I've just spent the past week working on a couple of blogs mirrored by this method. Nice to add some more info to what I've already discovered, thanks.

I really like the product. It's a very simple and elegant system for blogging. The system requires some work but the philosophy behind is much more in tune with the core strengths of the Internet itself.

For some people like me the beauty of the system clearly shines through. But I can tell others are going to question certain aspects of the system because its different than what most of us are use to. There are no keyword tools used, no seo, and you have to be willing to interact within your niches community on a basic level.

It's also not a set it and forget it type system. You have to put in some work every day. At least 20-30 minutes per blog it seems.

If what I just wrote turns you off, honestly don't let it. Peter does a fantastic job explaining and supporting the "why" of the nanoblogging philosophy which makes a TON of sense. It's just different than what were use to from a Internet marketing course.

Using CPA to Monetize Your Website Building Efforts

CPA networks (Cost Per Action networks) pay commissions based on the action requested. So, if you are asking for an email adress, you will get paid for obtaining that. If you are asking for a mailing address, you will get paid when the customer gives this information. There are hundreds of CPA networks with similar offers and programs.

When you are starting out, you can join one just to get the hang of it and then gradually add more to your portfolio. To be able to join a CPA network, you need to apply first. This process can take a couple of days. You'll fill out an application and then someone from the network will call you and perform a telephone interview. How to Build a Wordpress Theme & Free Snippets PDF

I've had an interest in learning how to build wordpress themes from scratch for a long time. Along the way I've picked up pieces of information, I suppose just as many of you guys have and learned how to hack my way through a wordpress theme. I even learned how to take an Xsitepro Template and turn it into a wordpress blog with the help of XsiteprotoWordpress which is a comprehensive tutorial taking you step by step through the process of turning a xsite pro template into a wordpress blog. Although there are plenty of youtube videos and other free tutorials, I find that organized compiled courses that offer a class in an ebook format and/or screen capture videos to be most helpful.

You can find plenty of tutorials on how to build a wordpress theme that are free by just doing a google search on "how to build awordpress theme" you'll find some old stuff and you'll find some very complicated material but if you keep at it you can learn how to build your own wordpress theme.

I found a pdf that includes all the code snippets you need for creating a wordpress theme, you might find it helpful to print this out and keep it at your side while working on your wordpress theme, here are the wp code snippets.....they're free :)

If you're really motivated and want to jump start the process I suggest the book "How to be a Rockstart Wordpress Designer", an excellent resource for anyone with some knowledge of html and css, you'll learn how to confidently and quickly how to build a wordpress theme! The book is a pdf, so you can instantly download and start learning how to create a wordpress them....I like to print out my books and bind them....I take them wherever I go!

Here's a little secret strategy. Embed an "Ad" in the body of the article or before or after the article. Great way to advertise affiliate programs or get links back to specific blogs or sites. It takes a little work but with the "search" feature in a notepad editor you can edit a 200 article rss feed in 15 minutes, 30 at the most.

Great job on Article Stalker, this will be one of those tools I'll use forever....I don't think RSS feeds will every go away :)

You can built affiliate sites like this without the use of datafeeds or anything else complicated. You can build a site that is 1000's of pages.

You could build these sites and then sell them....or flip a site, I'm not sure, but you probably have to purchase the license again so you would want to include that cost when considering what you should sell it for.

One of the coolest ideas for Auto Amazon E-Script is using it on some of those dormant domains you have sitting around. I don't know about you, but I have at least 100 domains sitting around that cost me 10 bucks a year, why now put Auto Amazon E-Script to work and set up some amazon stores.

Building websites with plr or private label rights material is completely different than building with reprint rights articles. When using PLR articles, you can completely rewrite the article to create unique content and therefore you will have a unique set of webpages. Reprint right's articles allow you to use the article without any alteration.....in this case you deal with the duplicate content issues.

MicroNicheFinder and Keywords

Building websites without proper knowledge of keywords is a quick road to nowhere!

Someone asked me what I use to find keywords and I quickly suggest MicroNicheFinder and answered in detail below.

Your content should be simple and easy to understand. It should also give people a reason to believe that not only do you know what you are talking about but you should also give them a reason to visit your affiliate link.
